Help us raise $80,000 this Christmas to supply 4000 food hampers during the festive season and throughout 2022.
We can make a hamper for every $20 gift. Of course, the more we get, the more we can do.
We are doubling the number of Christmas hampers we are supplying this year to 1000. These will be distributed statewide to help individuals and families during the last week of December and first week of January when many emergency food providers are closed, and families face added financial pressure.
Festive hampers contain a variety of non-perishable food items and specialty Christmas items, all delivered in a reusable jute grocery bag.
(Like what you’re reading? Give now so we can do more for more Tasmanians).
Each year we also supply 3000 emergency food hampers to individuals and families in crisis.
These are made-to-order based on family size and include pet food where needed. The goal is to supply enough food to feed recipients for up to a week.
The WD Booth Charitable Trust has kicked off the appeal with a $20,000 donation.
Donations are tax deductible and provide food and hope to Tasmanians doing it tough.
