Every week we work alongside local farmers, growers, producers and food manufacturers to keep more food dollars circulating within Tasmania while increasing access to affordable, nutritious food for communities across the state.

When local food supports local people, everybody benefits.

Over the past few years, we’ve been laying the foundations for a social enterprise that can create lasting change across Tasmania.

One that:

• Strengthens regional communities
• Improves access to nutritious food
• Reduces long-term dependence on charity

Today, that vision is becoming reality.

Our Devonport redevelopment is now approximately 80% complete, with further work underway in Brighton.

When complete, these facilities will significantly increase our capacity to feed people, create jobs, support local producers and strengthen Tasmania’s food system for years to come.

These facilities aren’t simply warehouses and kitchens.

They are the infrastructure that will help connect local producers with community need, create training and employment pathways, support regional economies and increase our ability to become more sustainable into the future.

Like many organisations, we’ve also faced significant increases in construction, compliance and development costs.

The vision remains strong.

The opportunity remains significant.
